Methodology Note on Support Horizon Projections
Support horizon projections are grounded in Apple's 19-year documented cadence: iPhones historically receive between 5 and 7 annual major iOS upgrades, followed by 2 to 3 years of maintenance security releases. Vintage and obsolete hardware classifications are governed by Apple Store hardware service policies (5 and 7 years post-discontinuation).
