Which iPhones Get Siri AI and Apple Intelligence on iOS 27

The install list is not the Intelligence list

Apple.com/ios names 30+ models for iOS 27, down to iPhone 11 and iPhone SE (2nd generation). The 14 September 2026 software availability note names a shorter Intelligence set: iPhone Duo, iPhone Air, iPhone 16 models or later, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus install iOS 27. They are not on that Intelligence footnote. iPhone 14 and older are in the same situation.

What Siri AI is (from Apple’s copy, not a rumor sheet)

Apple describes Siri AI as a more conversational assistant with personal context, on-screen awareness, web answers, Write with Siri, a dedicated Siri app that syncs history over iCloud, and Siri mode in Camera. English is first; French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish were listed for October 2026. It is a beta. It is not available for users under 13. EU iPhone/iPad/watch availability was called out as delayed; China was called out as unavailable while Apple works through regulation. Server-side features have daily usage limits, with paid expanded access described as coming later.

What an iPhone 11–14 actually gets on iOS 27

The OS train: Liquid Glass slider, faster system work Apple published against iOS 26.6 on named test devices, child-account tools, and security content. Not Siri AI. Not on-device foundation-model features that Apple gated to the Intelligence list.

Do not use unofficial RAM tables as Apple policy

Secondary sites publish 8 GB vs 12 GB splits for “full” Siri AI. Apple’s availability note does not print those RAM figures. This site treats Apple’s named models as the eligibility rule and labels extra RAM splits as unverified.
