Apple Intelligence on this hardware
iPhone 15 Pro is on Apple’s Apple Intelligence / Siri AI hardware list (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 models or later, iPhone Air, iPhone Duo).
Hardware note that is unique to this page
Compact titanium pro phone with Action Button, hardware ray tracing, and Apple Intelligence eligibility.
This edition (19 September 2026)
Intelligence listed. Not in the “15 heat” non-Pro threads. Software update is enough for Siri AI; buying 18 Pro is not required for 27.
Should you update this phone this week?
If iPhone 15 Pro currently runs iOS 26.x, iOS 27 is the current signed major train. Back up first. Early iOS 26 needed 26.0.1 for radio and camera faults on then-new hardware — apply any iOS 27 point release that appears after 27.0 before you diagnose a unique new bug.
If Software Update is blank, the catalog is stale or storage is too low — not a missing entitlement. Use the update-not-showing checklist before you assume the phone was dropped.
