iPhone Software Update Not Showing

If Settings → General → Software Update claims you are current, either the catalog is stale, a profile is pinning an old train, storage is too low to advertise the file, or the hardware is off Apple’s list. iPhone 11+ should see iOS 27. iPhone XS will not. 1. Rule out incompatible hardware first

About → Model Name. XS/XR/X/8 never get 26 or 27. Use the compatible list.

2. Refresh the catalog

Leave Software Update, Airplane Mode on/off, known Wi-Fi, no VPN. Pull down to refresh. Launch-week 27 was also mislabeled as 26.7 — that is a different bug.
